Rob Noble

Director

Rob has been a Chief Executive Officer (Qld), General Manager (NSW) and has undertaken other senior roles in local government for 41 years. In his most recent CEO role, he was the CEO of the newly amalgamated Central Coast Council, with over 2,000 staff and a huge change management program. He has been a recipient of the prestigious Alfred Mainerd International Scholarship for Local Government in NSW.

Rob is a Life Member and holds a Certificate of Merit with Local Government Managers Australia (now LGPro), is a past Fellow of CPA Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Past National and Queensland President of Local Government Managers Australia. He is respected nationally for his leadership within the industry.

Rob has been a Company Director of several companies and is now a co-Director of Noble Works, providing a range of services including executive coaching and mentoring, strategic leadership, personality profiling, executive performance reviews, relationship management, change management and the building of sustainable organisations based on self-awareness and business improvement. As a certified Enneagram practitioner and teacher who has worked with thousands of people, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Enneagram workshops and profiling interviews.

Rob is an experienced Executive and Life Coach and uses his training in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) in his coaching practice and everyday life. He has a special interest in leadership, with the aim of helping people to improve their lives through greater understanding of self and others. He has had particular success in developing people and relationships to achieve organisational excellence.

Dr Veronica Lunn

Director

Veronica has had over 30 years in senior management and executive roles in Local Government and in the consulting industry. She has lectured and tutored at the University of Newcastle and the Hunter Institute of Technology in various subjects in the disciplines of management and the humanities.

Veronica is a Doctor of Philosophy and graduated with 1st Class Honours and a University Medal from the University of Newcastle. She is also a qualified Librarian, and has attained a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and a Certificate IV in Small Business Management. She has been a Finalist as a Qantas Business Woman of the Year (NSW), and was also a winner of the Alfred Mainerd International Scholarship for Local Government.

She has been a company director for several companies and is a co-director of Noble Works. This has allowed her to maximise her skills in coaching, consultation and facilitation and to work with individuals, teams and organisations to develop strategies to be the best that they can be.

Veronica is a qualified Enneagram teacher and practitioner and a qualified coach and has now worked with almost 5,000 people in a range of sectors. As an experienced trainer, coach and mentor she brings her passion for personal excellence and her belief in the innate wisdom of people, teams and organisations to her work and life practice. Her skills in developing strong relationships and facilitating groups, large and small, has resulted in a strong client base.

Anne Schmarr

Senior Consultant

Anne has had over 30 years’ experience working in the field of human resources, learning and development, and organisation development focusing on the human side of workplace change and organisation culture. Anne’s experience has included 15 years in senior leadership roles which has allowed her to utilise her skills in facilitation, mentoring, coaching and motivating others to achieve agreed outcomes.

Anne has a Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resources, a Graduate Diploma of Career Counselling and Assessment from RMIT, and Certificate III in Business Excellence.

Anne is passionate about the field of career development and assisting people to discover the careers that best suit their interests, values and personality through the use of the Enneagram. As a Professional Member of the Career Development Association of Australia, Anne adheres to the high ethical standards and code of ethics set by the Association and the Career Industry Council of Australia.

Anne is a highly experienced Enneagram teacher and facilitator having studied with Enneagram NSW and is in the process of achieving accreditation as a certified Enneagram Teacher through Noble Works. Anne has been running Enneagram Workshops for the past five years across a range of occupational groups.

Anne’s friendly manner makes her easy and enjoyable to work with by establishing an environment where clients feel comfortable to engage in meaningful conversations about their careers and their aspirations for the future.

Melinda Smith

Senior Consultant

Melinda is an accomplished communication specialist with more than 30 years’ experience. A passionate story teller, she began her career as a cadet journalist, radio broadcaster and then television news presenter, before moving into senior management roles in corporate and public affairs in both the private and not-for-profit sectors. She established Melinda Smith Consulting where she designs and delivers well planned, customised and integrated communication strategies underpinned by her guidance, engagement, and practical know-how.

After beginning her career as a cadet journalist with NBN Television, Melinda went on to co-anchor the 6pm News bulletin for more than ten years. Her broadcast work also covered presenting on commercial and ABC Radio networks. Later roles included managing major community partnership programs involving health, welfare and environmental projects. Melinda is a non-executive board director of Maitland Mutual Building Society. She holds a Master of Business (Distinction) graduating from the University of Newcastle, and a Certificate IV in Frontline Management.

Melinda has presented workshops revealing how the Enneagram can help people to develop a greater understanding of themselves and others in the workplace. By applying the knowledge of the nine Enneagram types, people can learn to recognise the different communication styles and how to better manage and resolve issues. She has helped senior leaders – challenged with getting people of all styles and personality types working well together to recognise their own communication style and its impact on others. Supported by the basic principles and practices of good communication, professional and personal skills can be greatly improved within each of the Enneagram personality types.

Juliette Coates

Social Media Manager

Juliette is an aspiring performer having graduated with a Diploma of Musical Theatre from Brent Street, Sydney.

She's a social media enthusiast, part-time blogger, part-time barista, part-time singing teacher and full-time dreamer of one day becoming a Broadway Musical Theatre Star.

With a keen interest in the Enneagram (as it has helped her gain a greater understanding of her own and other personality types) she is excited to be a part of team Noble Works.
